This is one of Kalin's several stealth cuvees, "Le Willy", not the regular "Cuvee W" 1994 which was long gone! There are only about 80 cases of this special cuvee made. It is produced from the original 47 acre establishment of the Wente estate in 1883, and by Wente Burgundian clone. This wine is dedicated to Willy Joslin, the viticulturist and winemaker at Wente from the late 70's to the early 90's. He played a great role in guiding the viticultural development of the Livermore Valley and the modern Wente Clone of Chardonnay. The wine tastes like it's a fine grand cru Burgundy with half Puligny-Montrachet & Meursault-Like!

I had never tried Uncle Yu's before. So I decided to order the Kung Po chicken for takeout. After trying it, I felt pretty disappointed. It consisted of very oily chicken and snap peas. The rice cost extra and was rather bland and dry. I would not order this again. Especially at these prices.

The food is consistently good. We usually come during lunch and get the lunch special which comes with hot and sour or veggie soup; white rice, fried rice or vegetable chow main; sauteed veggies; and a main dish. We always request to sit in Matthew's section...he is THE BEST waiter - great demeanor, gives you enough space to enjoy your meal, but always checks in at the right time, and he has good wine recommendations! The food is good, but service keeps us coming back. :-)

Upscale, quality delicious Chinese food in an elegant setting. Delicious food and friendly staff. Menu had a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes. Hot and Sour soup was proper Chinese style with apt amount of spices. Salmon Spring Rolls are a must try in appetizers. Other appetizers we tried were Crab Meat Cheese Puffs and Pot Stickers. Best thing here is any menu item can be customized by removing or adding any meat, just mention that to waiter while ordering. We also ordered Crab Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian lamb, Chicken chow-mein and some chef special spicy chicken. We did not find any dish spicy even though it was mentioned spicy.I have to specially mention about the deserts. We ordered Exotic Bomba, Pistachio Ricotta Cake, Hazelnut Torta. They not only looked delicious but also tasted great. Plenty of parking is available behind the restaurant from where there will be enough walk. Definitely recommended if you are into pure Chinese delicacies.
